I don’t know when I joined tumblr.  I was going to do an anniversary post, but forgot.  And now I’m too lazy to scroll back to my first post  It was July 14th, 2010.  So I’m still feeling nostalgic (and super bored at work) and going to do a commemorative post for no good reason.  

An intro to Kathleen, post 18 months of tumblr:

• It is incredibly fun to see all the amazing art that comes from a fandom.  Even it’s a fandom to which I do not subscribe.  There are some wicked talented human beings in the world.
• I know that I’m not supposed to double space after end-of-sentence-periods, but I still do.
• Everyone is just a little bit gayer than they were before.  And as an aside to that one … 
• When I watch new things, especially if they are British, super hero related, period dramas, or involve two remotely good looking men, the slash just writes itself.
• Yes, tumblr, you win.  Tom Hiddleston is a beautiful human being.
• Fuck you, tumblr, I rocked the Oxford Comma before I even knew your name.
• Not so much a life lesson, but you people are killing me with these Nigel Thornberry manips.  YOU ARE KILLING ME.
• Talking to complete strangers is really fun!  When done online, of course.  I lurk on tags and start up conversations with blogs I don’t even follow!  It’s like I’m a completely different person! (no, I still don’t talk to humans in person, unless they are well established as People I Know)

So, yeah.  Little gayer, twice as nerdy, and .08% more outgoing.  The new me!
