Tumblr, What Hath Thou Wrought?
I don’t know when I joined tumblr.  I was going to do an anniversary post, but forgot.  And now I’m too lazy to scroll back to my first post  It was July 14th, 2010.  So I’m still feeling nostalgic (and super bored at work) and going to do a commemorative post for no good reason.   An intro to Kathleen, post 18 months of tumblr: It is incredibly fun to see all the amazing art...

mesencephalon replied to your photoset: My dad and I went on an impromptu five-county road… I can’t believe how unbelievably jealous I am of you right now. Well, not that you got to see your dad sad and stuff but that you got to spend time with him and see such wonderful places and be with him and blaajhdsg9sd8hsdh It was pretty amazing.  We were in the car for like, 6 hours, give or...

I'm watching "Rise of the Planet of the Apes,"...
I only saw “War Horse” last weekend and I just don’t know if I can do another traumatic animal movie so soon.   And also I have a gorilla thing that I don’t talk about very often.  Gorillas are fascinating. Ugh, I’m like five minutes in and I don’t know if I can do this.  And I am in no way a squeamish moviegoer.

knitting sarah: (im)Perfection. →
hamncheezr: knittingsarah: Have you ever noticed that if you compliment a knitter on their work they will often point out their mistakes or tell you how not perfect it is? My favorite is when a fellow knitter will tell me, “Don’t look too closely,” as I admire their work. Rarely do we just say, “Oh, thank you. Yes, I do love this shawl.” Why is this? I started thinking about this last...

lazyhamster replied to your post: amandarobots replied to your post: So. Last… I kind aliked it, but I agree on Tina being there being the best part. I missed her. And I wish the writers wouldn’t forget she EXISTS so very often. (Couldn’t name a favorite song of the episode either btw. Ugh, love songs… ) And I can I just tell you that I need a definitive list of Tina’s footwear?...

amandarobots replied to your post: So. Last night’s Glee, eh? Agreed. Absolutely agreed. I couldn’t wait for it to be over, I was just so bored. Ugh, right?  I was happy to see some Tina for a change, but that was the only good part of the entire episode.  Even the songs were wicked boring.

So. Last night's Glee, eh?
I try not to bitch about fandoms to which I subscribe.  I’ve never taken Glee seriously, because it’s a show about people that spontaneously burst into song so I just take the character development plot continuity events as they roll, with a heapin’ helping of whimsy.  But man.  Last night’s episode.  That shit was so boring I can’t even be snarky about it.
